In view of the rescheduled programme of the Honourable Finance Minister, BANCON 2011 stands postponed from October 16^th – 18^th  2011 to   November 4^th – 6^th 2011.

IOB has been awarded the First Prize for in-house Hindi magazine "Vani" for the year 2010-11

H.E. the Hon'ble President of India presented the award to IOB  CMD Shri M. Narendra, in the presence of Union Home Minister in Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on 14th September 2011.

IOB wins the "Best Public Sector Bank" award under the Micro-Credit Financing category
for the "Dun & Bradstreet - Polaris Software Banking Awards 2011"

IOB CMD Shri M. Narendra and ED Smt Nupur Mitra, are seen receiving the Award at a colourfull ceremony  held in Mumbai on 30.08.2011.

Government of India, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have been giving “National Awards for Excellence in MSE Lending” every year from 2001-02 onwards. 

Indian Overseas Bank has secured the First Prize based on its outstanding performance in MSE lending during the year 2010-11. 

H.E. the President of India handed over the prestigious award to  Mr M. Narendra, Chairman & Managing Director, Indian Overseas Bank, in the presence of Shri Virbhadra Singh, Hon’ble Minister of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, in a grand function held in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on 2^nd September 2011.
